I am pleased to introduce our fabulous sound team for the event:
Paul Hanford - Sound Director
Paul started off producing and writing music first in late 90s EMI band, Brothers In Sound and then internationally as a producer for Sebastien Schuller and his own project, Sancho. After obtaining recent degrees in both Audio Visual Technology and Music Culture - tutored by none other than Kode9, Paul now divides his time between being Head of Music for Future Shorts; journalism for such publications as Dazed and Confused, Amelia's Magazine and Disorder; freelance music and culture consultancy as well as working on his own music and sound design.
Nathaniel Slade - Sound Artist
Is an artist, engineer and musician. He has a degree in music and physics from Edinburgh and more than 10 years experience in the mongrel wilderness of experimental tech-art programming. He has recorded 3 albums, written and performed with Amanda Palmer of The Dresden Dolls, and once toured the Outer Hebrides with a circus troupe. More recently he has developed the #3 Soulsuit, the latest in a series of custom-made suits with integrated wearable technology. As one half of the Amundsen &Slade Sonic Sideshow he is now performing an audience interactive show based around the latest model Soulsuit, as well as developing an audio-aerial project translating the spacial coordinates of aerial acrobatics into live, musical performance.
